Yesterday, I had the opportunity to watch the LA premier of the documentary about Vidal Sassoon's life. After seeing this movie, I was absolutely blown away by the things this man has done in his life. For 83 years, Sassoon has revolutionized the art of cutting hair. He's made women look and feel beautiful just with a pair of scissors. As a true artist and humanitarian, Sassoon has made his way onto my list of people I admire and look up to.

So you can imagine how determined I was to shake his hand- those hands which have crafted the art of hair for so many years. As naturally awkward as I am, I was only able to mutter, "I'm very very very very honored to meet you." He just laughed at my speechlessness and nodded his head.
